ATC's finally posted

The following ATC's were completed at the workshop I gave in Asheville. Everyone seemed to have a good time and encouraged me to do another workshop next year. The general consensus was that the topic be on techniques for ATC's, Artist Journals and Altered Books. These were all topics that were of interest to the art teachers present. I hope to get ATC's from 2 additional workshop participants that had to leave early. I will post those if I recieve them.

A. Wagar ATC #1

I spent the last weekend of October in Asheville, NC for my state Art Education Conference. I had a great time. Asheville is a beautiful city with lots of things to do and see. I took two good workshops on artist journals and also gave a workshop on ATC's. I am posting some of the ATC's created by other art teachers during my workshop. I hope you enjoy looking at them.

This is an old collage I made several years ago before I heard about ATC's. It is about 2 1/2 x 4 1/2" and is made to be a pin. It is made with photocopies and watercolor. I still like it.  Posted by Hello

This is one of my newest ATC's.  Posted by Hello

This is an ATC I did using oil pastels. I have some Sennielier irridescent oil pastels that I used in some spots. They are lots of fun. Posted by Hello

This is just a quick watercolor sketch of flowers in my journal. I have a little bit of everything in it. Posted by Hello

I've seen some calendar style journal entries and liked the idea of doing a small drawing everyday. However, I can't always find the time or would rather do a different type of art that day. Did these over a 2 week period though. It's so nice just to draw. Posted by Hello
